We are hiring a Manufacturing Quality Manager with a strong background in Manufacturing and supplier quality processes to join the Schneider Electric Solar and Storage team in Bangalore, India.

What will you do?

• Ensures effectiveness of quality improvement and drives follow-up with factories. Set-up the surveillance plan and make sure of timely execution.
• Identify day-to-day non-quality factors, conduct, or have other departments conduct in-depth analyses and monitor quality improvement plans at Manufacturing factories/ Suppliers.
• Identify potential issues before they occur and implement preventive solutions.
• Lead quality issue resolution through containment, correction and prevention steps and check effectiveness of Manufacturing Plant/ Suppliers\xe2\x80\x99 actions.
• Conduct process audits at Manufacturing Plant/ Supplier and launch improvement action plans to help them develop their quality performance.
• Support all activities related to new product launch with engineering in India.

Represent Quality for new offers by assuring process compliance and product readiness to be released for commercialization.

Provide technical leadership for problem solving skills and experience to perform root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process, supplier, or design related concerns

Evaluate field failure rates and trends and provide improvement plan based on critical product failures that can adversely impact Customer Satisfaction.

Manage the Engineering Evaluation process to assure effective root cause analysis is completed and documented on field failures as required by customers.

Monitor and report FPY, MDR, RTY, DPU trend for all Solar offers and review with factory team on a Bi-weekly / Monthly basis. Drive improvement actions and presenting to management.

Ensure high level of cooperation / collaboration with GSC, R&D, Supply Chain and Delivery for rapid issue resolution as well as to drive continuous improvement of product quality for highest level Customer Satisfaction

Support all activities related to QMS.

Qualifications

What will make you successful?

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering (electrical / mechanical / industrial), +5 years relevant experience in Quality Engineering / Quality Management in manufacturing or production environment

Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification or equivalent is highly preferred

Strong technical leadership skills with experience in product development processes (hardware and software), manufacturing (electronic and mechanical assemblies), and related technical support functions (Quality and Test Engineering, in particular)

Familiarity with all aspects of Quality Management systems, and experience implementing best practices across multiple global facilities

Demonstrated success in driving supplier quality programs & continuous improvements

Knowledge in electronic assemblies and related industry standards is a plus ( Eg: IPC standards)

Understanding of ISO9001 and its implementation is preferred.

Strong Customer service attitude, root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.

Strong Team Player, self-motivated, leadership capabilities.

Good communication skills to effectively describe and understand complex topics.

Ability to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines

Experience managing third party manufacturing, industrial transfers

Ability to take direction from multiple sources, prioritize and multi-task under pressure

Ability to think with a global mindset, working with an international culturally diverse team where you will foster trusting relationships with colleagues
