Responsible for Quality function in the plant comprising of incoming, in-process & final quality assurance. Coordinate the quality system improvement, NPD, product / process improvements projects in the plant with close co-ordination with production and other functions in the organization.

  • Manage incoming inspection of parts & clearance of GRN in system
  • Manage product / process audits on production lines & get the CAPA implemented on NCs
  • Manage pre-delivery inspection of the product to aim at ZERO customer complaint
  • Quality planning at new product development stage to ensure first time right development
  • Analysis of internal/external quality issues and plan CAPA on them
  • Preparation of incoming quality plans, process control plans, final quality plans for products
  • Daily quality meeting with cross functional team functions to address quality issues and plan CAPA
  • Reporting on the KPIs for all quality related activities
  • Maintain & continually improve the quality management system in the plant
  • Propose & implement improvement solutions in process and product
  • Responsible for QMS internal audits & Management review meetings
  • Rejection/rework data analysis & action planning for improvement


Qualifications
  • B.E. (mechanical / production) with experience in quality assurance, quality systems
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (MS Words, Excel, Power Point)
  • Good knowledge of ISO standards
