Job Purpose

Job holder is the custodian of VI sites and cell sites database to maintain and operate the system meeting all routine and non-routine business requirements. He leads the gathering site and cell site information and application requirements to make it user friendly, informative and reliable and then create awareness among employees on its features, facilities and potential. In addition he/she trains internal employees on VIU application use and keep track of the information updated taking place in this area and keep updating the system with requisite upgrades. To assist the Central Site Info Database custodian in the data collection and maintenance.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

• Coordination with circles for regularly updating the centralized database with VI site & sector details
• Analyzing CGI data and inform to circle to update centralized VIU data
• Generating reports as per the requirement for respective Team /Dept.
• Coordinating with higher level management to gather new requirements and implementing the same in Centralized VIU system
• Collecting & validating data before loading into VIU System
• Coordinating with circles to collect updated VI sites and cell related sector details to update in VIU Application throughout the year.
• Maintaining the existing site and cell site information in VIU application
• Supporting online data requirement from centralized database to all stakeholders like Regulatory Function, Location Base Service commercial (LBS), Business Intelligence, Marketing function etc.
• Interact with vendor partners such as TCS team and Corporate IT team for smooth working and operating challenges
• To compile the PAN India data coordinating with 22 circles and collecting the data in same format

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

• Experienced in overall Telecom Network Elements, Rollout and Technology.
• Basic project and program management knowledge collaborating and engaging with different stakeholders for obtaining desired results.
• Able to communicate efficiently with both internal and external stakeholders
• Project Management skills

Must have technical / professional qualifications

B Tech/ BE Electronics and Telecommunication with 7-10 years of experience
