At CommScope, we believe that an integrated and effective talent management program helps drive a high-performance culture and build engaged employees. We are seeking a Manager of Talent Management who will use their knowledge and experience to help us create, manage, and deliver effective and innovative global talent development programs, processes, resources, and tools. This role will also provide consultative support on talent management (TM) topics to HR business partners (HRBPs) in our China and Asia-Pacific regions. With your entrepreneurial approach and ability to navigate a large, global organization, you will be an integral member of our team and key to our business success!

This position can be located anywhere in the United States. It can be fully remote or hybrid. Occasional travel may be required.

What would I do in this role?

Support Talent Strategy

  • Develop talent materials for leaders, managers, and employees that help drive positive talent outcomes, including toolkits, information guides, and curating content for our digital learning experience platform
  • Help design and deliver leadership development programs in support of our strategy, including working with identified vendors, obtaining necessary facilitator certifications, event coordination, communications, presentations, and assessments
  • Empower a data-driven approach to HR and people decisions regarding talent management topics through analytics, including working with internal experts to build a talent analytics platform in Power BI, and using analytics to test, measure, analyze, understand, and answer various business questions related to talent
  • Provide feedback to TM organization about business needs and challenges to drive continuous improvement of tools & processes
Advise and Partner with Regional HR on Talent Topics
  • Partner with the Human Resources teams (China and Asia Pacific regions) and business leadership to drive best-in-class talent solutions and serve as an internal consultant on TM
  • Promote and maintain a learning organization culture by advising on items such as performance management, talent identification reviews, calibration, succession planning, organizational design and effectiveness, change management, coaching/feedback, employee development, leadership development, and team-building
  • Proactively connect with your regional clients on TM initiatives
Support Organization Design / Change Management
  • Support and advise HRBPs on organization design strategies and optimal structures
  • Facilitate organization design meetings for assigned projects
  • Support key global change management initiatives
Required Qualifications

Minimum five (5) years of related experience in a talent management, organizational development, or leadership development role.

Proficiency with Talent Topics
  • Practical experience with supporting talent management processes like performance management, succession, and calibration
  • Demonstrated experience with data, including leveraging data visualization and storytelling with data
  • Having one or more of the following skills is a plus: Familiarity with SuccessFactors, experience with Microsoft PowerBI, experience with learning management systems, and certifications in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Korn Ferry Leadership Architect framework, and/or 360 assessments
Ability to Build and Develop
  • Stays current with talent trends and research; displays learning agility and a tendency to self-develop
  • Excellent writing skills (English), including the ability to produce clear and compelling emails and documents
  • Strong skills in PowerPoint, including the ability to create design-savvy materials
  • Familiarity with using technology to enhance and accelerate talent management offerings and solutions
Experience Managing Programs
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, collaborating, communicating, organizing, adapting, and influencing
  • Ability to lead project team members, hold well-constructed meetings, and facilitate groups
  • Expertise with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with various collaboration tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint)
  • Experience leading focus groups and seeking feedback from surveys


Delivering Content / Consulting Skills
  • Experience in facilitating leadership development training (face-to-face and virtual delivery)
  • Strong advising and business-partnering skills
  • Track record of building and maintaining strong relationships across functions & organizations (particularly at senior levels and within HR organization)
