Qualification: BE/B.TECH (Mechanical or Electrical)

Exp: 8 - 10 Yrs

The Manager- Sustainability will be responsible for supporting the group companies for improving the energy efficiency, conducting energy audits in the plants, green building projects, Design/Drawing & Validation of electrical and mechanical systems and handling of all MEP related work in projects.

Duties and Responsibilities :

- Design, Drawing, Validation, Improvisation of Electrical/Energy/Mechanical Systems especially HVAC, Chillers, Compressors, etc.

- Assist the Corporate Infrastructure team in managing M&E scope of the project to ensure the quality and deliverables within the stipulated time.

- Conduct Energy audits in the plants and support companies towards making their system more energy efficient.

- Facilitate knowledge sharing and learning amongst stakeholders through workshops, seminars, and focused training programs.

- Provide inputs on transfer and diffusion of energy efficient and environmentally sound technologies.

- On-call resource for stakeholders to direct questions around implementation of energy related initiatives for sustainability and environmental obligations, and instrumental in leading the local team in the committed deliverables.

- Support companies towards achieving their Sustainability related goals.

Desired Skills :

- Strong knowledge of Building operating systems, energy efficiency, low carbon technologies and Decarbonisation techniques.

- Experience on working on MEP Systems in terms of design as well as operations.

- Experience with Green Building projects like LEED, IGBC, GRIHA or similar.

- Experience with design and specification of renewable energy projects.

- An ability and willingness to think outside of the box to find creative and innovative solutions to reduce carbon and energy consumption with minimum impact on cost, quality, reliability, or maintainability.

- Ability to coordinate and/or supervise External agencies/ contractors.

- Knowledge of mechanical systems, building materials, and emergency maintenance.

- Candidates who are certified Energy Auditors/Managers will be given preference.
