Strategically partner with Technology and Architecture teams and to drive solution design, scale, process improvement, and growth across key investment areas in the business Grow Solution Architecture function that will support strategic vision of LSEG and use of the Cloud engineering and Data Platform to deliver on the vision. Define and establish necessary capabilities required by the function, and drive continual improvement based on evolving business needs and platform landscape. Manage the solution lifecycle of large and medium scale connected hardware and software products requiring complex cross-functional collaboration Create and manage end to end solution architecture blueprints and roadmaps, monitor and review platform progress and timelines against the solution roadmaps influence platform priorities and plans as needed, and identify and resolve issues to ensure customer success Be the Voice of the Solution's organization and identify opportunities to leverage all LSEG solutions/ technologies to address external trends or business and customer needs within key customers of focus Skills: B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Architecture, or equivalent degree A minimum of 8+ years' experience in technology and architecture experience. Proven experience in best practices in consulting, solution development, architecture, and delivery withproven success. Experienced with Modern Cloud and Microservice Architectures and Platform approaches. Understanding of Financial or equivalent domain, handling various types of data like temporal etc., handling various traits of data (volume, velocity, variety, veracity) using cutting edge technologies. Understanding of cloud computing technologies with demonstrated experience on one or more of the following domains: Azure /AWS Core Platform: Azure BLOB, Azure Data Lake, AWS S3, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, AWS RDS, Kubernetes, Serverless Services, API Management Application development & debugging experience: C/C++/C#, Python, Java Node.JS, SQL, etc. Azure/AWS Application Development or support experiences with Azure/AWS PaaS services Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages Demonstrated experience developing modern cloud application architectures to meet business requirements in complex environments Experience with cloud solutions, virtual platforms, software development experience, and operational management practices and frameworks Understanding of security, risk and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, HITRUST, GDPR), disaster recovery, high availability architectures, hardware, operating systems and networking connectivity Experience with Snowflake will be a plus.
