AMD together we advance_ MANAGER - SILICON DESIGN ENGINEER THE ROLE: AMD seeks a passionate, collaborative leader with strong technical skills and the initiative to motivate an expert team. You will manage a Silicon Engineering group and innovate with internal teams and external partners to create the next generation of computing technologies. You will take an active role in the lifecycle of digital IP development, resulting in a quality delivery of the SoC RTL subsystem to AMD SOCs. Collaborate with the architecture, SOC design, DFT, verification, and physical design teams for first pass silicon success! THE PERSON: The ideal candidate has experience leading others in technical and managerial settings. We are seeking someone with excellent problem solving, analytical, and debugging skills as well as a strong verbal and written communicator to work with team members across multiple sites. Also, must be a self-starter and able to independently drive tasks to completion! KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead a high-performance engineering team to deliver on SOC level design and integration activities Form a team and nurture talents Lead team, meet schedule commitments and provide strong support to various customers Collaborate with multi-functional leaders to drive AMD\'s success PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: A strong leader with experience working with a distributed team Strong mentoring and coaching skills Proven experience managing and leading engineering teams Prior experience in SoC integration activities, with working knowledge of ASIC implementation flows/methodologies. Prior experince in delopment and verification of RTL design, including Low Power feature implementation. Expertise in formal verification techniques and tools Background in clocking, reset, power-up sequences and power management would be a plus. Strong communications skills . Able to summarize complex problems for executive as well as drill down to details with architects and engineers Strong analytic and problem-solving skills including the ability to analyze current behavior, identify potential areas for improvement and design of experiments Must be a self-starter and self-motivated Prior experience M anaging technical teams ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.TECH or equivalent ECE/EEE #LI-NF1 Benefits offered are described: .
