Job Summary

Tredence's Product Engineering Team is looking to onboard an Engineering Manager to strengthen the engineering landscape. Product Engineering Manager role is a progression from a sheer problem solver who loves code and has eventually progressed to building great engineering practices around code, design, architecture. Core responsibility is to deliver great engineering products. Team Invents, researches, develops, designs, builds, tests, improves, and validates of the enterprise grade analytics products.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Coordinate product release with the stakeholders
2. Coordinate and oversee projects, make detailed plans to create product roadmap, accomplish goals and integration of technical activities.
3. Drive Technical design, implementation, and delivery of features in the most optimized and timely manner.
4. Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed as per SDLC standards.
5. Promote and contribute to innovation in a team with a focus on evaluating and integrating the latest technologies & always strive for improvement & long-term vision.
6. Ensure smooth functioning of the team by acting as lead of engineering leads and guiding them in technical and career front.
7. Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence

Qualification & Experience

1. Strong technical credentials with 10-15 years of enterprise grade software solution development
2. 4+ years' experience in product building as a tech lead or engineering manager
3. 6+ years of experience managing a software development team,
4. Hands-on experience in conceptualizing, designing and independently developing scalable applications and data science platforms
5. Knowledge of cloud IaaS, SaaS and PaaS services- Azure and GCP
6. Hands-on experience in web technologies like Java, Node JS, Angular, D3 etc
7. Experience of big data and data engineering technology like Hive, Spark, Apache kafka, Azure Data Factory
8. Understanding of RDBMS, NoSQL, and data models
9. Understanding of DevOps and automation tools like Gitlab, Jenkins, Git etc
10. Exposure in containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
11. Experience in integration of complex system that involves, Data Engineering, Data Science, Web Application and DevOps practices.
12. Experience in Agile Methodology of development
13. Ability to adapt to the ever-changing technology landscape and should be excited about constantly keeping themselves up to date by experimenting with new technologies and frameworks
14. Clarity of thought, with strong communication skills.
15. Passion to explore new tools, frameworks, utilities
16. Should collaborate with professional services and GTM teams
