Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager - Supply Planning & Central MRP
In this role, you will be part of the Supply Planning & Central MRP team and would be independently working to Model building and Providing safety stock norms for Finished Goods, Raw & Packaging Materials.

Responsibilities

  • Develop & maintain capacity plans, production schedules, and/or finite schedules to ensure the efficient delivery of inventory, service, and cost objectives.
  • Schedule finished goods production for each assigned product group. Supply recommendations are based upon scheduling parameters and system settings that are developed and maintained to support sales goals, inventory financial targets, as well as minimizing the age of the product when shipped to a customer.
  • Export Planning of Finished Goods utilizing Supply & Demand Planning books on APO. Shipment tracking and update systems with the latest information.
  • Generate various reports & dashboards for key figures like - Business Waste (Slow Moving Obsolete Inventory, WORR & MLOR report), Stocks In transit report, Semi-Finished (Mix) stocks report, FG Shortage report, COGI Report, Open PO Report, etc.
  • Handle and control finished goods inventories for assigned items to achieve the company's financial targets along with utilizing old age reports to resolve action required to initiate salvage sale or disposal of the product.
  • Raw & Packaging material planning based on FG production plans; engage with suppliers, logistics, warehouse & procurement to manage smooth flow & availability of materials.
  • Raw & Packaging material reports - Open PO, Contract Coverage, Source List, MSTN, PO reschedules, material forecast, RPM shortage tracker, etc.
  • Initiate product listing/delisting/withdrawal in conjunction with Marketing, Demand & Supply Planning teams.
  • Maintain the data integrity of the material planning systems.
  • Inventory Analysis - Over Stocked, ABC, Slow Moving, Obsolete, etc.
  • Inventory Reconciliation and manually intervene to adjust for variances or system errors.
  • Analyze & manage Inventory Ageing, Best Before & Expiry dates, Slow Moving Inventory, Obsolete Inventory.
  • Analyze & manage Write-offs for Obsoletes, Expired, and Claims
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications
  • Graduate in Operations, Supply Chain Management / Engineering / Business or related field with an understanding of applications such as SAP or other ERP/APS software experience and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required.
  • Knowledge of SAP MM module, SAP APO, Power BI, Anaplan, Kinxasis, etc. / APICS Certifications - CPIM
  • Experience in areas such as production scheduling, inventory management, supply or operations planning, raw material planning is helpful.
Preferred qualifications
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Good Influencing, Interpersonal and Analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of supply chain and supply planning business drivers, organization structures, and key metrics.
  • Understanding of Database management and any ERP architecture preferably in Production Planning and Materials Management.
  • Ability to interact with senior leadership levels in business.
