Job Title: Manager - Reporting & Analysis

Purpose of job:

This role deliver accurate and timely management information and will input and support by providing delivery performance information, analysis and insights.

This role shall be responsible for preparation of the management reporting for the SSC finance delivery. The deliverables of the role will be aligned to changing requirements from the business, SSC Management and as Strategic goals of SSC.

A critical element of this role will be to assist Head, SSC Finance Delivery and respective delivery leads by preparing the performance report for finance delivery in accordance with the requirement of internal and external stakeholders and ensure its delivery meets the agreed Service Level Agreement and quality. The role holder will be aligning with the finance delivery Seniors Managers or team members to collate the reporting data used in preparation of reports and reviewing this with the HOD and/ or with Delivery functions.

The post holder will be a pro-active, forward looking, and strategic thinking Finance Professional with strong relationship building skills, good communication and presentation skills.   • Effective engagement with stake holders (internal and external)
  • Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery based on inputs received from key stakeholders
Main opportunities/challenges for this role

Accountabilities, responsibilities and main duties:

Management Reporting and Analysis
  • Preparation of periodic dashboards, performance reporting packs as per agreed finance Delivery SLA. e.g. Preparation of Finance Delivery monthly performance report for Director Finance Operations. Internal performance report for SSC Management
  • Preparation of Finance Delivery Compliance report (FCCF) or other internal compliance dashboard as and when required.
  • Work with HOD and/or with Delivery leads in understanding new reporting requirements request from internal or external Stakeholder and leads in preparation of those Dashboards.
  • Pro-actively share insights to challenges, influences and adds value to service delivery reports ensuring their accuracy and timeliness submission.
  • Provides insightful commentaries for Finance Leadership and Stakeholders on the areas that require attention of the stakeholders besides developing intuitive presentations for Sr. Managements reviews of service delivery .
  • Regular review of dashboards and other reports with HOD, Delivery leads and Seniors Managers.
  • Collate and critically analyse monthly performance matrix for finance service delivery and interpret trends
Active engagements with stake holders to review performance of Finance Delivery Provide Support in governance in implementation of quality framework and supporting teams with data collation during internal / external audit :
  • To collate and provide Quality Assurance indicators of service delivery performance for reporting to stakeholders. To ensure that the data helps delivery teams with qualitative analysis of service delivery KPI's and reporting packs with back-ups stored, made available for reference and audits .
  • To compile service delivery data as required by Internal auditors basis their terms of reference.
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate preparation of reports by levering capabilities of SAP /RPA / VBA tools.
  • Supporting finance service delivery team with key strategic and tactical initiatives aligning to the Finance Delivery priorities.
  • Implement best practices or approaches for reporting in order to improvise preparation delivery reports
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Creates collaborations with SSC PMO team & delivery leads to improve effectiveness of the reporting.
  • Engages with stakeholders for collation of delivery insights required for review performance.
Knowledge Management and Retention
  • Adapt /Implement Knowledge Management framework in provision of services from SSC as per British Council standards and service delivered are documented for management of knowledge
  • Service delivery reports are shared / saved and processes are documented as per internal standards and are reviewed regularly to ensure its appropriateness
Qualifications
  • Commerce Graduate with MBA with proven experience of successfully managing and delivering similar roles
  • Experience in understanding finance processes (AP, AR, General Accounting etc)
  • Preparing performance reports and dashboard for review with Senior management
  • Experience of using SAP
