General Purpose of Role:

Global role as part of the WES People organization, responsible to ensure accurate & timely delivery of People Services to respective Worley Markets by partnering with People Service Provider (Capgemini).

Responsibilities:

  • Support the WES People Tower Deputy Lead in driving effective and effiicient governance and ways of working between Service Proivider and Worley People Function
  • Work closely with WES People Tower Lead & Deputy Lead and the Servie Provider to ensure efficient, timely and accurate delivery of newly transitioned WES People services to the Worley Markets as measured by contractual service level agreements and supporting KPIs
  • Drive continuous monitoring of Performance Metrics via SLA and KPI reporting and partner with the Vendor Management Office to report on Service Provider service performance
  • Drive proactive engagement with the In-market People team (Operations Managers, Specialists, People Advisors) to effectively manage process issues & escalations, identify pain points through RCA and drive sustainable action plans to course correct
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the newly transitioned outsourced People services, working in conjunction with Service Providers, Worley People Function, WES, GPOs and Continuous Improvement Leads
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes upstream of the Service provider managed processes with a view to improve end to end employee experience and process effectiveness
  • Facilitate periodic audits (internal and external).
Key Accountabilities:
  • People service governance and performance reporting operationalization.
  • People process escalation handling / issue resolution.
  • People process continuous improvement and standardization.
  • Manage requests of changes to processes and new services specific to the process tower and geographical area.

  • Seasoned Individual Contributors or Project Leader possessing a broad knowledge of principles and practices within a field of specialization and an understanding of business strategies, culture and work to achieve results. Able to develop conclusions from analyses and apply results to WorleyParsons' business operations. Decisions are typically based on extensive business acumen and seasoning and results achieved enhance the intellectual capital of WorleyParsons and affects its overall capability
  • Senior level position with advanced knowledge and a specialized depth or breadth of expertise, gaining a mastery of a single areas or multiple broader areas of specialization.
  • Fully proficient level with full knowledge of the principles and practices within a discipline. Work is subject to practices and procedures and may require periodic review with other teams or work groups. Due to changing priorities or different situations encountered, the incumbent relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Intermediate level position following defined processes and precedents to complete assigned tasks with increasing independence specific to area of specialty. This level is normally regarded as continued training and development.
  • Seasoned level administrative position responsible for performing complex and varied work assignments that are more specialized, requiring a deep understanding of their specific area of expertise. Typically responsible for supporting a function/department. Involves frequent visibility to high level internal and external customers. Positions at this level may be required to perform involved mathematical calculations. Generally have specific process or program coordination responsibilities assigned as part of the regular work routine.
Decision Making:
  • Proactively sets priorities related to complex situations having multi-project and/or organizational impact. Contributions are primarily technical rather than managerial. May be involved in guiding strategies.
  • Plans and conducts and may supervise work of self and others. Has ability to lead project teams. May participate in cross-functional collaboration.
  • Working under minimal supervision, able to plan own work and accomplish varied and complex tasks with the ability to discover issues and recommend solutions.
  • Under general supervision, work may be varied and somewhat difficult but limited in scope. Ability to recommend alternative theories and solutions is limited.
  • Routinely makes decisions that involve independent judgment to determine a course of action which is consistent with established functional policies and goals covered only by general procedures; Supervision at this level is extremely infrequent and is typically necessary only to understand departmental goals and work objectives. Able to lead and/or train lesser seasoned individuals in daily work assignments and performance oversight.
Supervision Authority:
  • Provide technical guidance to staff and may assign work. Reviews work for technical accuracy and adequacy. Plans, controls & reports on project work. May have direct reports and may make recommendations concerning selection, training, rating and discipline of staff.
  • Able to lead functional project teams. May have direct reports. Will typically assign activities and regularly give job-related guidance to department staff as a senior advisor.
  • May assign activities and give technical guidance to a few staff for a common project.
  • May assign and review activities or work of junior staff, but has no authority for performance evaluations impacting pay.
  • Has no direct or indirect reports, but may take a lead role in project type assignments.

  • Advanced understanding of systems, processes and tools related to field. Able to assist others and troubleshoot issues. May be involved in the development of new systems, processes and tools.
