RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engage with the U.S. leadership team to build a positive and fulfilling workplace experience for our diverse team.
  • Help maintain the company\'s core values and ensure that all decisions, programs, and processes are aligned with Company culture and core values.
  • Be a cultural champion, both as a role model and in leading the team in cross-company initiatives, helping scale and strengthen culture as the team grows.
  • Devise processes and implement systems across all people and culture domains, including hiring, onboarding, development, recognition, compensation, benefits management, offboarding, etc.
  • Design employment branding initiatives to increase brand awareness.
  • Own and drive talent acquisition efforts through effective recruiting and hiring practices, including defining processes, sourcing, engaging with candidates, training hiring managers, and closing candidates.
  • Create and identify ongoing employee development opportunities for employees and managers through training, feedback, coaching, career path definition, competencies, etc.
  • Ensure administrative record-keeping and employment practices comply with all applicable laws and regulations, in collaboration with external counsel.
Experience:
  • Seeking 8+ years of HR and People operations experience in a high growth company. MBA in HR or Social work from a reputed institute.
  • Start-up DNA: Willing to roll up sleeves, do foundational work and test new approaches. Able to deftly prioritize. Comfortable with ambiguity \xe2\x80\x93 unhindered by change and uncertainty and can methodically work through complex problems
  • Business and commercial acumen: Deep understanding of the sector and competitive forces at work including experience with data security
  • Contracts expertise: Demonstrated extensive hands on experience successfully drafting and negotiating complex partnerships
  • Experience in entertainment or technology businesses: Exposure working in a fast-paced entertainment or tech sector in a high growth environment. International experience is a plus
  • Capabilities:
  • Proven success in a dynamic, fast-paced, highly creative environment. Demonstrated capability to lead change and generate process improvements, leading to greater effectiveness and efficiency
  • Critical thinking skills and solid business acumen with demonstrated ability to understand key business drivers and financial factors and provide legal advice
  • Results oriented, extremely proactive and a highly responsive individual with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with excellent judgment and discretion
  • Confident and self-aware with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. A high impact presence\xe2\x80\x94capable of quickly establishing credibility, influencing constituencies and persuading professionals at all levels
