Manager New Product Development Furniture/retail Industry
Job Description
NPD Manager sets the product portfolio strategy, product launch calendar, and has full accountability of the formulation of a product or product line. A product manager role may also include product marketing, manufacturing project management, user trials and budget responsibilities.
Experience in Furniture OR Retail Industry
- Lead risk analysis activities for New Product Development programs and drive completion of appropriate mitigation.
- Provide quality leadership for design review activities and launch readiness decisions.
- Promote process capability and incorporation of Lean manufacturing concepts in process design.
- Promote analytical problem solving through sound statistical application; provide organizational training.
- Expand the quality system infrastructure using ISO/IATF principles to ensure robust, reproducible, high quality product designs and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with all government and industry standards/codes for product and process quality.
