Manager - Forward Farming

JOB PURPOSE:
Develop Bayer Forward Farm to establish Bayer as the channel for modern agriculture, amplifying farmers\' voices to increase public awareness and acceptance.
Drive awareness of the benefits of innovation and technology, and how these are underpinned in a sustainable food system
Positioning Bayer as the trustworthy thought-leader & innovative partner of choice
Builds on cross-functional colaboration to engage with our multiple stakeholders including our customers

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate, Coordinate and Integrate with the Global Bayer Forward Farming supportive Team to develop Illustration Manual for BFF, Flyers, Participation in the Global Meeting, and Implement the technology interventions.
• To develop Bayer Forward Farming in India to demonstrate the Social, Economic and Environmental interventions through Sustainability, Regenerative and Precision Agriculture.
• Collaboration with potential partners to implement new technologies to ease in doing agriculture.
• Collaborate with Crop Agronomy Expert (MD) to develop tailored Solution Package through intervention in Seeds, Cultivation Practices, Integrated Water Management, Integrated Pest Management, Digital Intervention, and Integrated Soil Management etc. to create a Climate Friendly Solutions in Agriculture
• Stakeholder engagement to demonstrate the innovative sustainable solutions and establish Bayer forwarding Farm as hub of Modern Agriculture
• Data management of farm and converted into information and documents for decision making.
• Branding and input material preparation with the support of global consultant, local MD and communication
• Develop a crop calendar for the year and activity / engagement calendar. Organize different stakeholders farm visit programmed.
• Prepare the resource utilization budget and get it approved from the Management.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Graduate / postgraduate in any discipline
• Experience in farm management and farmers engagement
• Should have at least 5+years of relevant experience.
• Should have detailed understanding of Agronomy.
• Cross functional team working
• Project management Skill
• Ability to conceptualize and execute the value chain projects.
• Good Communication and analytical skills
• Collaboration and Negotiation skill
• Need based travel to the forward farm plot(s) as per business requirement.
