Role & responsibilities :
- IGAAP Financial Monthly closing and preparation of financial statements.
- Implementation of IND AS 117 Co-ordinate with the implementation partner, system vendor, knowledge partner and internal stakeholders for data requirements and ensure closure of various milestones as per project plan.
- Audit committee/Board Deliverables Ensure timely submission of Audit committee/Board deliverables, review of policies approved by Audit Committee/Board and closure of ATRs.
- Quarterly/Annual Audits Support in Statutory audits, Internal audits.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with Accounting Standards, the Companies Act 2013 and also the IRDAI regulations..
- Project Management : Planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely manner and within budget. System Enhancements Testing of system requirements, evaluate new requirements and providing CRs to IT, liase with IT for resolution of defects and delivery.
DESIRED COMPETENCES/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Chartered Accountant. Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience post qualification.
- Life Insurance experience in Financial Reporting.
- Good knowledge of I GAAP, IND AS, Accounting practices and standards, SEBI and IRDAI regulations
