The Role

The purpose of this role is to take responsibility for the management of Document Production team in Delhi on a daily basis across a 24-7 service, including responsibilities for managerial support on multiple shifts, adequate staffing of the shifts, improvement initiatives, trainings, delivering the quality output, performance management, etc. The role will be responsible for smooth functioning, growth and wellbeing of the DP team in Delhi.

Strong communication with the DP Managers in other locations, Work-Flow Supervisor Team for operational challenges and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactive work to develop, implement and improve the processes, productivity and efficiency of the team- AI and automations
  • Manage and direct the operations team to achieve business targets
  • Manage escalations and complaints
  • Work closely with other DP Managers, TLs to ensure seamless operational activities across all shifts and locations
  • Ensure transparent and free communication between London and India offices
  • Be a change agent and work with the Head of the Department and Global Head of GBS to implement various initiatives and projects
  • Set objectives of the team in line with business needs and handle performance management, reviews and appraisals of the team
  • Maintain accurate and clear documentation for team processes and activities
  • Ensure team is abiding by the policies and code of conducts of the office
  • Effective analysis of training needs, overall design, structure and delivery of training programs as well as demonstrating return on investment of all learning and development activities
  • Plan and implement training programs that will prepare employees for the leadership level
  • Manage the India recruitments by preparing job descriptions, pre-recruitment tests, interviews and on-boarding of the team
  • Monitor and encourage team\'s participation in various extracurricular activities in the firm
  • Prepare and maintain Monthly Information Report and various other reports
  • Represent the team on various platforms.
Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience
  • A bachelor\'s/master\'s degree from a reputed institute
  • 10+ years of experience at a multinational organisation, working in a managerial role at the shared services division of a global firm, handling global client and stakeholder interactions
  • Experience and knowledge of working in/managing a large team of Executives
  • Experience in transitioning processes to an offshore location (captive/outsourced)
Communicating & Influencing
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate persuasively and clearly
  • Ability to discuss processes across all levels of the organisation
  • Influencing and negotiation skills
  • Strong senior stakeholder management skills
  • Change management experience
Organisational/Strategic/Job-related skills
  • Service & delivery excellence, along with continuous service improvement
  • Ability to articulate the challenges a business operation faces when consistent change is being delivered
