Job Description


Roles and Responsibility Strategy Product Design & Control (\'PDC\') & Change Management Lead for Cash Ops responsible for implementing within Cash Ops all Strategic Group / Country / Business Projects & including projects covering new local regulations / changes to existing regulations. Support Head PDC & participate in analysis and development of New Products/Services/Cash Ops procedures, GDOI\'s, process notes mainly relating to Corporate business, segment clients for all business, regulatory & market-driven changes. Align Region / Country PDC & Change Mgt activities with guidance received from Group PDC and effectively act as a bridge between Region/Countries & Group PDC/Specialist functions Heads for India & SA PDC Leads/SPOC\'s for best practices, knowledge sharing and benchmarking capabilities. Business Function as Product Owner for CMO change initiatives Work with function heads on Digitisation ideas / automation initiatives and assist teams on approval process. To ensure that projects run to schedule and deliver effective results alongwith consistent tracking & monitoring. To publish reports on New Products/Services/features across payments domain and provide inputs on capacity/production/client competition matters as required. Support Domestic/Cross Border/Specialist/Risk Function Head\'s in doing gap analysis on change to regulations and progressing these to relevant forums for necessary approvals Partner with Central UAT team to review & maintain test library for existing and new capabilities Work with Head PDC & Function Heads for driving robotics/automation capabilities within CMO Maintenance and development of EUC\'s and processes either inhouse or through empanelled vendors. Processes Partner with Function Heads to standardise operational processes as may be relevant & required due to Change Management Ensure strict compliance of internal policies & procedures in line with the Group standards / GDOI / Local DOI\'s & applicable regulations. Maintain process maps / workflow diagrams for CMO related processes To identify process improvement opportunities and progress them with the relevant teams to address day-to-day matters relating to transactions, processes, technical issues. Partner with FH\'s and CTM teams on relevant RCA review for tech incidents, defining / maintaining user access rights & limits, Toxic Access Models People and Talent Lead through example and help build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations within the larger team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners. Risk Management To Report on findings, exceptions and results from activities being carried out. To work with BRM team to assist on any operational risk related data requirements Governance To exercise a good oversight on the controls existing on the activities carried out in respect of PDC & Change Management initiatives that are running within CMO Regulatory & Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\'s Values and Code of Conduct. Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct. Lead the [PDC & Change Mgt team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank\'s Conduct Principles. Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters. [Ensure adherence to all relevant RBI regulations, master directions and circulars issued from time to time Serve as a Director of the Board of [insert name of entities] Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association (or equivalent) Key Stakeholders CMO Function Heads, BRM team & CSG Managers, Head CMO IN COO, COO\'s office TB Cash Products Legal & Compliance Dev & PSS teams, CTM WB Group Head - PDC, PDC Leads across Network Our Ideal Candidate Possessing below certifications would be advantageous: Payments Domain Knowledge - Mandatory Project Management related knowledge - Mandatory Project Management Work Experience - Mandatory Exposure to Agile & LEAN methodology - Preferred Data Analytics & BI related Knowledge & ability to use Python, SQL, Tableau - Preferred Lean Six Sigma Green / Black Belt related certification - Optional Role Specific Technical Competencies Awareness of basic IT systems & processes and ability to translate business requirements to system functionality Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills Data Analytics & BI Tools Project Management & Coordination skills Sound knowledge of Cash Mgt Ops / Products About Standard Chartered We\'re an international bank, nimble enough to act, big enough for impact.
