Job Description
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Required Skills -Linear Static, Modal, Non Linear, FRF, Fatigue
- Good fundamentals - Strength of materials, Machine Design, Fatigue, Applied mechanics and Finite element methods
- Able to do finite element modelling of Automobile/Tractor systems.
- Able to build finite element assemblies for structure. Should have good understanding of different types of contacts/connections like spot and seam welding.
- Able to apply loads and Boundary conditions required for linear and nonlinear Static analysis.
- Able to carry out Modal, frequency response and transient analysis for vehicle components and systems.
- Able to do Fatigue life estimation for Vehicle structure, Spot and seam welds.
- Ability to postprocess results, make reports and present results to design team.
MTECH with 3-6 Years in CAE of Structural/Automobile/Tractor systems. - Durability Domain
Education Qualification
Masters in Technology in Mechanical; Masters in Technology; Masters in Technology in Mechanical Engineering or Applied mechanics from IITs
Critical Experience
FE tool/Software Skills
- Meshing - Hypermesh/Simlab
- Solvers -or Nastran/Optistuct/Abaqus ((Linear and Non Linear analysis) or ANSYS Workbench
- Post processing - Hyperview
- FEMFAT
