Job Description


Primary responsibilities:- Identifying new sales leads- Pitching new products and/or services- Maintaining relationships with existing customers ensuring growth through cross sell and up sell where possible- Capitalise on existing sales leads and opportunities- To generate sales leads, day-to-day activities include:- Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets- Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry eventsOther activities include:- Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company\'s products- Developing quotes and proposals- Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person- Contributing to the development of stretching but realistic sales goals and ensuring they are met- Working closely with the Sales team to ensure smooth take on of new customers and effective handling of existing customer- Write reports and provide feedback to managementQualities/Skills Required- Good with numbers- Good communicator- Be self-starting and willing to take the initiative- Strong communication and IT fluency- The ability to communicate at a high level internally and externally- Creative talents and the ability to solve tough problems- In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events- The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines- Attention to detail- Excellent time management and organisation (ref:updazz.com)
