Undertake detailed and thorough logistics analysis in line with business goals and targets and identify opportunities to aid efficiency and cost optimisation through evaluation of data from across the business Ensure reliability, integrity and accuracy of data and Create statistical and financial models and use appropriate software to review opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies in the logistics process, such as Freight optimisation and transportation schedules. Make recommendations based on findings and analysis Produce Freight forecasts and estimates to aid financially sound decisions and cash flow planning Ensure logistics costs are monitored, managed and under control Collaborate with manager or stakeholders to determine effective solutions Participate in regular planning reviews and change processes and prepare data in line with changes Set up and provide regular reports and data relating to specific areas of the logistics process such as supplier analysis, transportation costs Track logistics trends and use information to recommend changes Utilize knowledge and research methods to benchmark logistics activities and to drive best practice results YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Drive and maintain annual review of all freight expenditures and contracts to ensure that organization is operating at best competitive costs .
• Spearhead freight Analysis (ocean and Air )
• Work closely with the logistics team in India identifying , negotiating and managing domestic logistic service providers .
• Work closely with relevant stakeholders for preparation of Annual operating plans for Freights and indirect spends .
• Develop and maintain appropriate and productive relationships with suppliers and conduct supplier review meetings .
• Create and maintain supplier contracts
• Gather and evaluate relevant market information to review market position and determine opportunities for key categories in Indirect Spend .
• Work closely with local teams in improving KPI’S in Logistics Spend , facilities and other indirect categories
• Technology driven mindset and work on digitisation and Technology driven Projects

Qualifications
Graduate / Engineer/ MBA with 3 to 5 year of experience in a similar profile He/She should be Commercially focused and pragmatic, have the ability to identify opportunities and propose solutions. He should have excellent communication , interpersonal and relationship management skills with ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders Good understanding of pricing / commercial terms , supplier contracts , International and domestic freights and proficiency in excel / google sheets.
