In this role you will work with both operational and strategic tasks while partnering with hiring managers and employees. You will be supporting with day-to-day questions and support the HR life cycle of processes. You will report directly to the Hub HR Business Partner at Asia Pacific Middle East and Africa (APMEA) and collaborate with other HR- colleagues in the company. Your responsibilities

  • Delivering HR Service support to the Hub APMEA HRBP and HR community and employees in APMEA Hub
  • Assist the Hub in defining and implementing standards and tools (for capability and workforce planning standards, hiring standards, grading line standards, quality standards, process standards, learning management standards, etc.)
  • Work closely with the HRBP to continually review our processes and ways of working to support continuous improvement
  • Collecting and compiling HR metrics and data for the Hub from a variety of sources including HiNext data base outputs, stay/exit/attrition analysis/statistics, competitor’s practices, and other sources.
  • Analyzing data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to capability and workforce planning execution, recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Preparing reports of data results to support Hub HRBP in presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership.
  • Identifying and recommending reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.
  • Based on metrics and analysis, making recommendations for policies and activities to improve the organizational culture including suggestions to attract and hire qualified candidates, to motivate and retain employees, to address staffing issues, and to maintain legal compliance.
  • Take ownership of specific projects or initiatives as directed by the HRBP and responding to inquiries from employees and internal stakeholders concerning HR topics. Support new hire and termination processes ensuring managers comply with company requirements to include new employee orientation and on-boarding
  • Recommend enhancements and simplification of existing processes and procedures based on experience with customers
  • Execute HR admin & system tasks related to all people processes
  • Manage a variety of ad-hoc tasks that might appear in different situations and needs to be resolved
  • Actively engage in benchmarking and sharing of best practices with internal and external partners/locations.
  • Ensuring that all systems and databases remain up to date with current employee and organizational information
  • Maintaining a high level of data quality to make sure that our employees receive their salary and its components on time
  • Performing internal quality controls on HR Data / information systems
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and driving them
  • Communicating information regarding company policies to internal stakeholders in a clear and concise manner to ensure understanding and adoption
  • Updating standard operating procedures and work instructions
Your background
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree (in Human Resources or equivalent preferred)
  • Around 3-5 years of professional experience in the HR-C&B/ELCM field, data analyst or project management
  • Advanced practical use of MS Office with extensive focus on Excel skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
  • Excellent customer, service and team orientation, process-oriented thinking, understanding interdependencies and attention to detail.
  • High learning ability combined with high flexibility and personal responsibility, team-oriented with ability to work independently.
  • Collaborative and solutions-oriented approach with ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable with digital technology and solutions supporting HR processes (e.g., SAP, Workday and/or ticketing tools)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in different aspects of Human Resources as a function
