CTIM Platform Operations: L2 SAP GL Shared Services

This position is for the Production Support of the SAP R3 and InCountry S4 platform. The selected candidate will be hired into the Corporate Finance Technology Group, an IT Group within Corporate Technology, in APAC, supporting the Global Finance Organization and Financial Systems of which the SAP Products and Applications are used to support Global General Ledger function. Additional areas include the evaluation and design of integration between SAP and external systems, and managing test environments, supporting several test events and the migration of SAP database and application configuration into production.

Desired SAP technologies: SAP S/4 , SAP R3, SAP GRC, SAP ABAP, Autosys and Control - M Schedulers

Preference technologies: RHEL, AIX, HANA, Oracle, and Microsoft Office product set to support SAP Applications

Responsibilities and duties:

Responding to and resolving batch processing issues, infrastructure related incidents & problems

Works with OS & DB Administrators for optimal R3/S4 Performance, and with the SAP AD teams to resolve code and configuration issues

Provide Support and Guidance to the other Project and Development teams during the build, test and productive operation of project implementation.

Provides support for Disaster Recovery and DR test as required.

Provide support SAP End-Users with system and reporting problems.

Provide Production Support on a periodic 24x7 support with on-call responsibilities

Work with the SAP Vendor via OSS tickets

Qualifications:

Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science or related business field: or equivalent experience.

Working understanding of complex software and information technology solutions.

5-7+ years working with SAP R3/S4 support, maintenance and implementation projects, with client facing roles.

3+ years\' experience with Linux/Unix platforms (Redhat Linux preferred) and HANA (2.0 preferred)

Strong understanding and working experience in Control-M and Autosys

Ability to work independently and mentor resources in both technical and non-technical issues.

Good working knowledge of Unix / PERL Scripting is essential

General understanding of technology Infrastructure is required

Exposure or Experience in a public cloud offering like AWS,GCP or Azure would be a plus.
