Job Description


Technical Support: Provide prompt and effective technical support to end-users and internal teams experiencing issues with Unix/Redhat Linux systems, applications, and services. Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to system performance, software, hardware, and networking. Good to have experience on AIX & HPUX. Incident Management: Monitor and respond to incident tickets raised by users, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). Escalate critical issues to appropriate teams and management when necessary. System Administration: Assist in managing Unix/Linux servers and associated infrastructure. This includes performing routine maintenance, upgrades, and patches. Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and identify areas of improvement. Proactively address potential bottlenecks and optimize system performance to ensure efficient operations. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation related to system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices. Ensure that knowledge base articles are created and maintained to assist end-users with common issues. Security Compliance: Implement and maintain security best practices for Unix/Linux systems. Stay updated with security vulnerabilities and apply patches or fixes to maintain a secure environment.
