Job Description

• Orchestrate, administer, install, configure, and maintain RHEL 6/7/8 versions in a diverse Linux environment.
• Develop and implement automation scripts using tools such as Puppet, Ansible, and Bash to streamline system administration tasks.
• Manage and troubleshoot Linux servers, including handling Cisco, Dell, and HPE servers and chassis blades.
• Apply OS patches and upgrades regularly and update administrative tools and utilities.
• Install, configure, and integrate new services as necessary to meet the organization\'s requirements.
• Perform firmware upgrades on servers and ensure ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization.
• Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as needed to maintain system performance.
• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills to identify root causes and provide effective solutions during production incidents.
• Provide production and application support on multiple environments.
• Implement ITIL best practices for incident, change, and problem management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and utilize Agile methodologies for activity/task progress.
• Maintain effective oral and written communication with customer management, and other stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Windows Azure and other cloud platforms is a plus.
