Job title: Legal Counsel (IP)

:

- Being the central point of contact for management and company on various IPR matters including but not limited to Patents, Registrations, Copyrights, Trademarks etc.

- Implementation of IP Strategy of the company in alignment with business priorities.

- IP management and support for company to ensure creation, maintenance and defence of a strong IP position, protection of know-how and risk management.

- Defend IP rights against attacks from 3rd parties and advise management on issues of IP violations ,cease desist notices, etc.

- Ensure registration, enforcement, maintenance, and defence of the company\'s trademarks and designs.

- Assist in management/review of patent, design and trademark portfolios.

- Counsel internal clients, including management and members of the R&D and technical teams, on IP risks and opportunities.

- Ensure proper IP Risk Management to enable product launches. Implementation of checklists for product launches

- Providing advisory to the company on data privacy and information security matters.

- Legal review of posts and content material for marketing and advertising activities.

- Review and assist in the drafting and/or negotiation of nondisclosure, research, license, and other agreements involving the use, transfer, or ownership of intellectual property.

- Define and take countermeasures vs. competitor\'s IP.

- Define and implement Anti-Counterfeiting Strategies.

- Raise and maintain IP awareness.

- Co-ordinating between internal legal requirements across our partner law firms.

- Negotiations, meeting and conference calls with internal team members, external counsels and third parties for the above said matters.

- Assist other team members in the legal department for the work assigned.
