Functions Innovation Team is a Technology Innovation stream of Standard Chartered Bank based out of Singapore, Bangalore & Chennai. We are looking forward to our upcoming centers at Guangzhou, China and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia by 2021. The Software Development Manager is responsible for the strategy, integrity and operation of the development practice within the organization. They are accountable for identifying new technology trends and innovations in their area of expertise, and working through Product Families to advance the capabilities and knowledge of Development Chapter members. They ensure consistency of practices, tools, techniques and procedures across Families. They are the steward and representative for the development area\'s roadmap and strategy at the enterprise level and in senior leadership forums. Provide development chapter strategic direction for engineering teams working on major Innovation programs such as Retail Innovation transformation and Enterprise Technology Strategy Responsibilities Develop, design, and implement blockchain-based applications, including cryptocurrency and NFT projects Lead a team of developers, set development goals, and provide mentorship and guidance to ensure quality deliverables Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers to ensure product development aligns with business objectives Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities for blockchain and NFT technology improvements, as well as implement new features and enhancements to existing products Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in blockchain, cryptocurrency, and NFT technologies, as well as propose and lead new development projects and initiatives Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and excellence within the development team Defines enterprise-level standards in regards to the functional area ensuring consistency and integrity of the functional area at enterprise level. Provides expert level IT technical lead services and design the Innovation Products target architecture. Follows industry and functional trends and develops a strategy to bring new tools, techniques, innovations, and best practices to his/her competence/ functional area. Participates in Innovation Strategic projects and explores the niche & latest technologies Practices hands-on Software discipline as an individual contributor on a team Ensures that an optimal balance of skills and capabilities is achieved the within the development practice to enable the organization to achieve its strategic goals Strategy Blockchain Engineering Lead for innovation team Risk Management Functions innovation Team (FiT) Regulatory & Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the . Key stakeholders Group CEO/CXOs Country CEO/CXO Group CIO Qualifications Training, licenses, memberships and certifications 7+ years of hands-on experience in blockchain, cryptocurrency, and NFT development, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects Solid knowledge of blockchain technologies, including smart contracts, consensus algorithms, and distributed ledgers Strong proficiency in at least one programming language used for blockchain development, such as Solidity, Java, Python, or C++ Experience in leading and managing development teams, with excellent leadership and communication skills Experience in developing and deploying decentralized applications (dApps) on Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, or other blockchain platforms Knowledge of cryptography and cybersecurity principles, as well as experience in developing secure and auditable smart contracts Familiarity with popular blockchain frameworks, such as Truffle, Web3.js, or Hardhat Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Skills and Competencies Meaningful experience on cloud application architecture (micro-services, containers), operations practices (Agile, DevOps, DevSecOps, and Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery) and tools.
