About the Inspire Global Innovation Center

Inspire Brands is disrupting the restaurant industry through digital transformation and operational efficiencies. The companys technology hub, the Inspire Global Innovation Center in Hyderabad, India, will lead technology innovation and product development for the organization and its portfolio of distinct brands. The Inspire Global Innovation Center will focus on developing new capabilities in data science, data analytics, eCommerce, automation, cloud computing, and information security to accelerate the companys business strategy. Inspire Global Innovation Center will also host an innovation lab and collaborate with start-ups to develop solutions for productivity optimization, workforce management, loyalty management, payments systems, and more.



The Senior Manager, Restaurant Technology has team-level responsibility for all technology aspects of Inspire Brands and will act as the primary technology liaison for the US Tech Leads. This role drives the selection, implementation and maintenance of restaurant technologies inclusive of POS Hardware, POS Software, Inventory, and Labor Management Systems as part of an all-inclusive restaurant technology landscape.

This position is primarily based on developing new RT technology s. It includes having experience with development, deployment, and support of systems in cloud native environments. It also requires management of staff and project management responsibilities.

& Responsibilities:

  • Partner with key departments outside of IT, such as Operations and Marketing to define, establish and implement best practices and procedures for POS, Mobile Ordering, and Loyalty platforms (e.g.; database management, integration analysis and platform support).
  • Serving as the enterprise subject matter expert (SME) for the POS and BOH environment.
  • Building and managing the relationships with all key external POS and BOH technology providers and vendor partners, including statement of work and contract development
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders and franchisee stakeholders at all levels to understand and address their business needs and concerns
  • Partnering with key departments outside of IT, such as Operations and Marketing, to define, establish and implement best practices and procedures for POS, back-office operations, loyalty platforms (e. g., menu management, new items, coupons, redemptions, etc.)
  • Establishing and maintaining SLA windows and escalation practices for all critical systems and processes
  • Providing guidance and management for the creation of support, testing, and change management processes for the POS/BOH environment to minimize operational risk while providing maximum transparency to stakeholders
  • Ensuring all system changes are fully documented the appropriate user communities are trained prior to implementation and help desk turnover
  • Acting as the IT management lead for back-office application projects and implementations where POS/BOH coordination is needed
  • Provide guidance and assistance to Managers and support individual growth
Experience Required:
  • Preferred: 8+ years of experience in systems design, integration, and impleRequired Minimum: 12+ years of experience in database design / administration of Point-of-Sale Systems.
  • Required Minimum: 10+ years Restaurant (QSR/TSR) environment experience
  • Required Minimum: 5+ years as a proven people manager
  • Preferred: 8+ years of experience in implementation / deployment of Restaurant POS Software including, but not limited to PAR Brink, Oracle Simphony, Oracle Res, NCR Aloha and Informentation /deployment of infrastructure and supporting software applications.
  • 5+ years of experience with kitchen management systems and other QSR systems such as menu boards drive-thru timers, and order confirmation boards
  • 5+ years technology management experience in a franchisor/franchisee business environment
  • Application management with Restaurant BOH, including but not limited to Crunch Time Labor and Inventory software and Altametrics
