General : The Boeing Company has an exciting job opportunity for a System Design and Integration specialist. This person will perform product and component management to ensure technical viability and cost-effectiveness. Use technical expertise to help business partners and others by answering technical questions regarding the usage, trouble-shooting and functionality of delivery systems products. Applies knowledge of computing systems to choose appropriate troubleshooting techniques to resolve complex delivery systems problems. Document the resolutions to the system problems and implement process improvements to alleviate future problems. Required Skills: Meet \'Typical Education/Experience\' from below and 3+ years working in Citrix environments consisting of XenApp and XenDesktop Experience with building and maintaining Windows 2008 Servers Experience with VMware including vCenter Proficient with Active Directory OU\'s, GPO\'s, Scripts, Permissions, Groups. Experience with troubleshooting Hardware/Software installs and runtime issues. Desired Skills: Good communication and organizational skills Experience with Windows 2016 Server OS Working knowledge of file storage, NAS, SAN, vSAN Experience working with PowerShell and other scripting tools to automate deployment and configuration of OS/applications. Familiarity with security compliance systems including Perimeter and Access Zones. Additional Information: Identifies requirements of Citrix systems, as directed, by interacting with business partners, delivery systems analysts, IT infrastructure teams, and Boeing Security. Assists with gathering documentation and information used to capture, structure, and accurately represent stakeholders\' requirements. Conducts basic analyses of information and requirements to assure that expectations for functionality are met. Assists with documenting requirements as directed. Partners with Boeing IT customers in planning, executing technical tasks, interfaces, integration, issue resolution, assessment of system environment readiness, and application installation on Citrix environments. Assists in testing Citrix delivery systems according to test plans as directed, and provides test result documentation. Provides high-level technical expertise to the customer and internal IT Organizations related to the implementation of applications within Citrix environments. Assists with documenting selected solutions and customer specific information. Coordinate Citrix related implementation activities across various functional Organizations to help prioritize and schedule appropriate resources. Provides reporting information from monitoring systems to assist with IT Resource utilization and capacity planning. Proposes and implements systems enhancements, processes, and computing standards that will improve the reliability and performance of Citrix and IT systems. Typical Education / Experience: Technical bachelor\'s degree and typically 12 or more years\' related work experience or a Master\'s degree with typically 3 or more years\' or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study. Highlight/Focus Citrix XenApp Support Global Collaboration Environment (Citrix GCE) Primary contact for multi-application environment with a customer base of internal/external BCA/BDS Engineering customers Support application integration, engage app focal and maintain server/env stability issues with internal/external/military Citrix customers Windows Scripting and Development VDI customer capacity reports XenApp environment reporting and monitoring Citrix Support tools development Here are a few examples of where Sam exhibited Lv3 behaviors: Supported the Primary role for multi-application environments with a customer base of internal/external contacts which lessened the number of contacts to resolve Citrix issues. Worked Lv3 Citrix issues that reduced the number of Xenapp issues as new applications were deployed. Supported Lv3 Windows Server and Citrix environment maintenance scripts, Supported, DOORS/EMOM/ Cribmaster/ DCAC/ eMOD/ MAPPER/TruNest to lower cost by automation of processes. Leading collaboration across multi teams leveraging the Citrix environments and Mentoring the Citrix Team on the complex Citrix PII environments.
