Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Setup Quality Gates throughout the SDLC to ensure Product is delivered with High Quality
• Conduct Testcase and Code reviews to ensure the quality of Test cases, Test coverage and Automation Code
• Responsible for setting up best Testing and Automation Practices
• Identify the right tool and set up the automation framework for UI, API, and Microservices
• Guide and Mentor QA Team on the Testing and Automation Tools, Frameworks and Process
• Responsible for QA metrics and Automation ROI
• Measure and Investigate Defect Leakage and provide preventive measures
• Guide and Mentor QA Team on the Testing and Automation Tools, Frameworks and Process
• Responsible for providing QA Tech debts and Automation Roadmaps
• Identify QA Risk and Mitigation Plans and ensure product delivery as per the release timeline
• Setup the right tools and process for Performance and Security Testing
• Responsible for measuring Testing and Automation Efficiency and provide metrics and suggest improvement plans
• Responsible for grooming the QA team in Testing and Automation aspects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure best practices is adapted across products
• Conduct knowledge sharing sessions
• Work closely with the QA team in identifying the technical gap and groom them

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in automation testing
• Hands-on experience in setting up the Test and Automation Process
• Good knowledge of Software Testing concepts, methodology and Metrics
• Good Understanding of Web fundamentals (MVC, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Server-Side Programming and Database)
• Good programming skills (Java / Ruby / Python / Node. js / JavaScript)
• Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming concepts and Design Patterns
• Hand on Knowledge of Test Automation approaches, Frameworks and Tools
• Hands-on experience in UI, API, Microservices, Cross-browser Testing Tools and Automation
• Hands-on any of performance Testing and Tools (Jmeter / LoadRunner / Gatling
• Hands-on knowledge on Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment
• Good Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
