Aerodynamic & Mechanical Blades Module Blades Lifecycle Management Blades Life Cycle Management Department within Blades Module is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of products lifecycle commitments. Improve efficient and timely ECR handling across the module. Develop and maintain +2 years line of sight of cost effectiveness models for Blades module. Be one point of contact for life cycle support to the full value chain. Develop efficient, cost effective and safe cost effectiveness idea generation processes that follows Vestas way to market process. Improve timely response to ISM and RNSP\'s Responsibilities You will be involved in developing innovative and cost-efficient concepts for the current blade projects Drive idea generation sessions in the module teams Solidify and continue building pipeline of cost-out ideas Responsible for Cost out release plan in alignment with functional/project leadership Develop and maintain +2 years line of sight of cost out portfolio for allconfiguration modules Develop efficient, cost effective and safe cost out idea generation processes thatfollowsVestasway to market process Define implementation of the cost out ideas in alignment with technical functional leads within different sub module Ensure project and operational milestones are known and updated - communicate changes to project team Responsible for achieving blades module cost out target year on year Prepare and direct cost out project\'s peer & technical reviews Financial evaluating of product cost including opportunity analysis, business cases etc Main interface between Module Cost Manager, Procurement analytics, Senior functional leads, Project manager Qualifications B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Mechanical Enginnering / Allied Minimum 5+ years Experience as technical lead for cost out project or platform projects Cross-function technical leadership defining scope, risks, imitations etc Experience in developing systems, process and processes towards cost out projects Expertise in costout idea generation tools, review of business cases using standard templates Expertise in project planning using agile methodology Expertise in product cost structure to enable cross-functional business to improvement/cost out projects Competencies Enthusiastic and able to handle multiple tasks with varying timelines & priorities Should be a Team-oriented person Good collaboration focus and ability to motivate colleagues within project team Good communication skills to report effectively on the project status at all levels of an organization Self-motivated and target defined Creative and enthusiastic with good attention to detail and willingness to take ownership What We Offer We offer you an exciting job with skilled professional and personal development opportunities in an inspiring, international work environment at an established manufacturer of wind turbines.
