Plant performance improvement using steady-state and dynamic simulation (Like capacity

enhancement, yield/purity improvement)

Operator Training using Operator Training Simulator (We can also build Operator Training

Simulator for your plant so that you can train and re-train your operators in plant startup,

shutdown and emergency procedures)

Implementation of LAB Information Management System (LIMS) for automating your

LAB work processes.

Implementation of Real-time plant performance monitoring system

Profile Requirements

Experience required: 10+ years of work experience (preferably in the chemical industry)

with at least 6 years in the field of Process Simulation

Qualification required: Master or Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (with 60% marks

throughout)

Good written and verbal communication, is a must

Readiness to travel: in India and abroad [to the customer site for customer interactions

and acceptance tests]

Readiness to work for long hours, if required: It may be highlighted that most customers

may expect engineers to work on 12 hours shift, particularly during the acceptance tests.



1. Development of steady-state/ dynamic simulation model of a unit/ Plant using:

AspenTech Aspen Hysys, Aspen Plus

Honeywell UniSim

Yokogawa KBC simulation software

AVEVA simulation software

2. Designing, Building a unit or plant level model

3. Familiarity with the Steady State and Dynamic modeling.

4. Full start-up and shutdown on the model and run a series of quality checks, before handing

over your model to the Lead Engineer for further integration

5. Understanding of the plant PFDs, P&IDs, H&MB and reading/extractive data from the

Equipment Data Sheets.

6. Delivering the models within a stipulated time frame and defend the model with the end

customer during the Model Acceptance Test (MAT), where the customer would check the

model behavior, the data used and the assumptions made, if any, while building the model.

7. Leading the Site Acceptance Tests with Customer/ EPC teams.

8. Identifying the scientific principles/concepts that are applicable in a given situation.

9. Ability to guide the application engineers in their day to day tasks to impart necessary

knowledge and skills
