This includes but not limited to System requirements definition and management, requirements validation, system architecture design, modeling and simulation analysis, system integration and verification and certification. Work with multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate the technical efforts towards realizing project goals. Primary Responsibilities:

• Technical coordination with the multi-disciplinary team involving electrical, mechanical and software engineers
• Carry out end-to-end systems engineering activities as per ARP 4754 guidelines.
• Proficiency and minimum of 5 years work experience on ARP 4754 process.
• System development, verification, and validation
• Capture customer/regulatory/industrial requirements and convert them into system and component requirements.
• Conduct Requirements Management - Requirements elicitation, derivation, decomposition, validation and verification.
• Allocation of design requirements to HW, SW, Process, etc.
• Experience with requirements management tools like DOORS.
• Safety analysis of the system architecture and definition of safety requirements as per ARP 4761.
• Model Based Design with MBD tools like Matlab / Simulink for model development and scripting.
• Preparation of system verification cases and procedures
• System integration and verification
• System qualification planning and coordination with HW/SW teams
• Drive for continuous growth for the self and the associated team members. Coaching and mentoring to develop successors.
• Estimate, track, own and report project technical, cost and schedule aspects for assigned scope of work.

• 7-10 years of relevant industry experience with at least 5 years as a Systems Engineer in system requirements management, system verification and validation, system modelling of sensor systems
• Strong problem solving and analytical capability.
• Work experience with ARP 4754, ARP-4761, DO-160 and familiarity with DO-254 and DO-178 Certification standards.
• Matlab/Simulink for model development and scripting.
• DOORS, JAMA requirement management tools
• Ability to perform / lead design reviews, non-advocate reviews and project reviews
• Working knowledge of sensor and control systems
• Strong problem solving and analytical capability
• Good understanding of digital signal processing

• Knowledge of Polarion, Teamcenter or Agile tools
• Experience in Embedded HW/SW development
• Knowledge of ARINC and Ethernet protocols
• Experience in continuous and discrete process controller design
