COO APAC Regional Procurement APAC Construction & Transport Procurement APAC The Construction & Transport Procurement department is responsible for sourcing industrial service providers who support Vestas with qualified equipment and manpower to deliver value adding solutions for On- and Off-shore wind power plants. We contract all companies that provide works on our turbines, both during the Transportation and Construction phase. We support our operation\'s team with the best landed total cost, work for technological progressive initiatives and ensure a high level of safety and quality.Your main responsibility will be to support our Construction & Transportation Procurement activities in India. Responsibilities Be the point of contact for Construction & Transportation in India throughout early engagement phase, tendering and contract negotiation process Drafting and execution of tenders & supplier negotiations Implement the regional Construction and Transport Procurement strategy Establish and develop partnerships with selected suppliers to gain competitive advantages Build supply market intelligence and ensure that supply base data is available to support business decisions Secure that cost reduction targets are achieved through cost out projects and ongoing price negotiations for cross regional procurement initiatives. This includes scoping, negotiating and implementing standard contracts and prices to enable local ordering Qualifications Academic degree in engineering or business studies 5 years\' work experience in either Procurement, Transportation or EPC Project Management 2+ years of experience within onshore renewable industry Negotiation skills and understanding about Supplier Relationship Managemen with long term planning capabilities Competencies Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills Advanced MS Excel skills Team Member and Independent able to handle own workload Practical approach to problem solving and minimizing exposure to commercial and contractual risks Ability to work in a time-sensitive situation to tight deadlines Effective organization, time management and communication skills What We Offer Vestas offers a place in a multicultural and global team.
