Role: Lead Back End with AEM Experience

As an AEM Technical Lead, you will lead efforts for delivering and supporting world-class Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions and complex integrations. Your work will consist of driving large scale implementations and working very closely with a large team by leading them in solution design and implementation. You\'ll leverage your strong technical skills in developing seamless and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with clients and internal teams for Requirements gathering, to analyze, understand functional and technical requirements.
  • Act as SME in pre & post-sales technical scoping, requirements gathering, validating solutioning, feasibility and development practices as well as ensuring right implementation
  • Prepare Technical documentation, System Requirement Specifications (SRS) documents
  • Formulate an implementation plan & prepare estimates for the assigned activities/work items. timelines, Technology stack and resource needs
  • Build well-structured reusable code and libraries Code, design, debug, unit-test, code-review and create technical specifications/documentation
  • Solution Design, build & integrate AEM Platform Templates, Components, Services to internal and external applications by working closely with an Architect where appropriate.
  • Identifying and developing custom components & workflows, design of web pages, site structure, optimizing page loading times using a variety of markup languages based on wireframes, designs, or other client requirements
  • Do planning, scoping and creation of technical solutions for the new product capabilities, through to continuous delivery to production
  • Create events and listeners on content and interaction to produce meaningful reporting (Google Analytics, Adobe Marketing Suite, and other conversion tags)
  • Work closely with business partners/Architect to provide a POV / POC on technical and process recommendations and solutions.
  • Identifying the NFRs and recommending approach to address these requirements
  • Responsibility for New interface tracks and component development for and inside design systems or CMS platforms.
  • Creating and testing user-facing features that may employ Next.JS, React, Angular, Vue.JS, TypeScript, Jest, and other technologies.
  • Using REST APIs or GraphQL to load material.
  • Third party API\'s integration with AEM.
  • Conduct periodic code reviews and Oversee development process compliance and CI activities
  • SME on leading vendors in development practices, establishing and governing development principles, DevOps processes and testing frameworks to ensure quality development.
  • Leading large & multiple development teams and empowering them to use industry standards and best practices
  • Liaise with offshore team and clients for resolving technical dependencies, issues, and risks.
  • Ensuring quality control processes are successfully employed
  • Working with the DevOps Engineer to manage environments and release quality solutions
  • Working with project managers and development teams to schedule and ensure solutions are delivered timely and meets technical specifications
  • Providing technical leadership, troubleshooting and solutioning through high priority production issues.
  • Creating, Working & Tracking tasks using Scrum Framework, Jira, Confluence, Agile development practices
  • Communicating progress, timelines and deliverables to client stakeholders
  • Provide oversight for assigned projects and get things done with minimal supervision
  • Strong client interfacing, excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience Requirement:
  • At least played the role of Technical Lead for two years.
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of professional web development experience
  • Hands-on-Experience in Content Management Systems (CMS) with at least 4 years of specific AEM experience required along with AEM 6.3+ version experience is ideal.
  • Over 4+ year experience developing AEM web applications and very strong concepts of OSGi, Apache Sling, Apache Sightly, Apache Oak and Adobe Dispatcher, OSGI, Felix, Jackrabbit, JCR, CRX.
  • Over 3+ years of experience in implementing Web application, Web Content Management (WCM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions using AEM platform.
  • Experience in AEM component development, Designing modules. Asset workflow development, Schedulers, Metadata & Tag Management plus integrating AEM with other applications.
  • Should have worked on AEM forms, Architectural patterns & AEM as cloud service.
  • Knowledge/Experience on working with content fragments with GraphQL will be preferred.
  • Experience in multiple front-end web technologies including HTML/5, CSS,
  • Development experience with at least one Ajax/JavaScript frameworks (ie. React/Angular/ jQuery or Extjs)
  • Development experience using Java Content Repository (API) suite with one or more Java concepts and patterns including: Java/J2EE, JSP, Sling, JMS, JUnit, OOPs, Eclipse
  • Good experience working with Core Java, J2EE, Adobe CQ5, Restful web services, Java technologies & Frameworks (like Struts, Spring, Hibernate etc.)
  • Experience to other web technologies like Search, XML, XSL etc.
  • Should be knowing UML diagrams (Use case, Class, Sequence, Activity, Deployment)
  • Exposure to one or more end to end implementation on AEM, Performance optimization and scalability in AEM
  • Thorough understanding of AEM Security model with understanding of SSO
  • Knowledge of various AEM components like MSM, Mobile, I18N, Tagging, Translation, Search etc.
  • Experience of Migrating content from one legacy system to AEM
  • Integration of CMS with CRM, E-commerce or portals.
  • Using responsive design, ensure satisfactory accuracy and compliance across mobile and desktop browsers.
  • Experience in configuring and performance tuning enterprise application servers i.e., Weblogic or Websphere Server, JBoss , etc.,
  • Experience with one or more back end/server-side technologies including: SOAP/REST, SQL/NoSQL databases, ESB, and Microservices
  • Experience with project automation technologies: CVS, SVN, Git, GitHub, Jira, Selenium, SonarQube, maven, Jenkins etc
  • Working knowledge of multiple web and application tier technologies: Tomcat, Apache Http, Solr, open-source packages, Content Delivery Networks (CDN)
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
  • Experience leading large sized teams and technology engagements, including client and consulting staff.
  • Ability to architect complex services, consultatively
  • Knowledge about SOLID principles, Clean Code, Separation of Concerns, Microservices
  • Ability to code, design, debug, unit-test, code-review and create technical specifications/ documentation
  • Experience with site optimization
  • Experiences with theme integration and customization
  • Knowledge of online payment gateways (e.g., Authorize.net, PayPal, etc.)
  • Proficient in authoring, editing, and presenting technical documents
  • Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms
  • Knowledge of caching, and scaling techniques
  • Strong client interfacing, excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Healthcare would be preferred
Certification:
  • AEM Certified developers would be preferred
