Job Description

Patrol assigned areas to maintain public safety and prevent criminal activity Respond promptly and appropriately to emergency calls, accidents, and incidents Conduct investigations, gather evidence, interview witnesses, and prepare detailed reports Enforce local, state, and federal laws, ordinances, and regulations Apprehend and arrest individuals suspected of criminal activity Conduct traffic stops, issue citations, and enforce traffic laws Serve warrants and subpoenas as required Assist in crowd control and maintain order during public events or demonstrations Provide assistance and support to individuals in need, such as accident victims or lost persons Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and criminal justice professionals Attend training sessions and stay updated on changes in laws, policies, and procedures Testify in court as necessary and present evidence during legal proceedings Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor\'s degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred) Completion of a recognized law enforcement training academy and possession of a valid law enforcement certification Excellent physical fitness and ability to pass physical fitness tests Valid driver\'s license and clean driving record Strong moral character and integrity Excellent judgment and decision-making skills Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful and dangerous situations Effective communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of criminal laws, investigative techniques, and law enforcement procedures Ability to use firearms and other law enforcement equipment safely and proficiently Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
