Summary The Customer Support Engineer will be responsible for handling customer-raised issues around technical trouble shooting and product performance. Our customer success organization operates 24/7 and therefore merits rotational shifts. The applicant\'s ability to network will be a distinct advantage for this role. Responsibilities

  • Ensuring customer delight and good n(sat)
  • Respond to customer queries in time and predictably using whatever means of communication that the customer team considers optimal for their community.
  • Performing troubleshooting on ColorTokens products when required
  • Collaborate with Engineering and sales organizations for critical issues.
  • Analyze and report product malfunctions (for example, by testing different scenarios or impersonating users)
  • Coordinate with business units to support new product developments and existing product enhancements.
  • Work with the engineering team to evaluate complex customer problems, identify root causes, and derive resolutions
  • Develop knowledge bases and FAQs for product support activities.
Skills
  • Strong networking fundamentals(TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP etc).
  • Good knowledge of TLS, PKI, VPN ( IPSec ).
  • Packet Analysis with tcp dump and wireshark.
  • Good knowledge of URL filtering, Chrome dev tools, and cURL.
  • Windows Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of Bash/Powershell/Python will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of AWS, dockers, kubernetes will be an advantage.
  • Linux and Windows command line knowledge for troubleshooting network, memory, process, CPU etc related issues.
Education:
  • B.Tech in computer science and information technology.
  • Cyber Security specialization will be a distinct advantage
  • Relevant Network Security Certifications (CCNA or similar)
Experience:
  • Up to 5 years of experience in Network Security
  • Experience in troubleshooting Firewall ACL issues
  • Experience in configuring VPN for remote users.
  • Experience in troubleshooting Operating system issues
  • Experience with Linux and good knowledge of using PowerShell
