Job Description


About the role:

- Lead delivery and execution of complex Spend Analytics for Domains

- Identify standard analytics to be automatize and provide specifications to the digital team (including dashboard KPI (number of suppliers, automation rate), periodic results analysis & follow-up and opportunity identification, supplemented with actionable insights aimed at achieving tangible business outcomes

- Identify and predict spending trends using historical volumes, commodity pricing and Sanofi forecasts. Measure and anticipate the impact of commodity price variance

- Manage relationships with key procurement stakeholders - hold discussions on analytical insights, support with deployment strategy, and plan for new analytics needs (including Advanced Analytics - leveraging Data)

- Collaborate across multiple geographies and functions

Responsibilities :

- Be the subject matter expert on all company-wide data/metrics related to external Spend Procurement. Work on automation of for external spend data ingestion. Liaise with the organization to master spend data quality

- Gather granular internal and external data, including benchmark, to identify external spend optimization levers in Procurement

- Develop appropriate process automation to enable quick and accurate assessment of improvement opportunities

- Monitoring macro-economic evolution, industry trends and implementing best practices to improve in-house capabilities

- Partner with Procurement domains and leverage advanced analytics techniques to better predict external spend trends and support procurement and business decisions

- Facilitate the monitoring and manage a category spend, in link with change and evolution requested

- Strong analytical mindset

- Spend data mining and data preparation knowledge

- Strong business acumen and financials understanding

- Strategic Sourcing & Category Management experience will be an advantage

- Strong thought leadership and strategic thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify business issues/opportunities and to frame business questions

- Strong desire and aptitude to be very hands-on with reporting, data and Analytics.

- Communication and presentation skills, with ability to present and translate complex information to key stakeholders

- Proficiency in business intelligence/analytics tools

- Agile methodology

Professional Skills:

- Aggregate, normalize and enrich spend data

- Hands on Experience on Spend Analytics and Opportunity assessment

- Bring more spend under management

- Compare attributes across suppliers and commodities to enrich the forecasting process

- Understand all fixed and variable cost drivers to develop robust Total cost of ownership analytics / should cost modelist

- Consultative problem-solving approach, customer orientation, and strong collaboration skills

- Strong capabilities to work in agile mode

Experience & Qualifications:

- Masters degree in business administration

- Between, 3 - 6 years of experience in a business, analysis and finance within Pharmaceutical Industry experience.

- Experience working within a high-growth technology company .

- Good Team Player

- Good in Communication
