As part of Spiceworks Ziff Davis, you will be a member of one of the world\xe2\x80\x99s largest B2B Media networks, with ample global opportunities to grow in the world of digital publishing. : You will be a part of the Editorial team and support editors by uploading and reviewing/ QC\xe2\x80\x99ing content to the Spiceworks publication. Your goal is to ensure that adequate fresh, original content is uploaded to the site, meeting both quantitative and qualitative goals. Once you are onboarded, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be given a complete walkthrough of everything you are expected to work on. You\xe2\x80\x99ll also be assigned a work buddy for the initial few weeks to ease onboarding. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Uploading content

• Upload up to 5 content pieces on the website every day, which are proofread thoroughly to ensure that each copy is 100% error-free.
• Ensure that all articles follow the correct format and add hyperlinks where required.
• Ensure the content is Search Optimized as per the SEO Guidelines
• Ensure the content is tagged appropriately and placed in the right section of the site as per the CMS
• Image selection from Shutterstock as appropriate.
• Upload the content on time into the CMS, keeping in mind the instructions and TAT communicated by the Editors

• Supporting role:

• Performance tracking of core success metrics for the content.
• Keep Editorial Calendar current and up-to-date for the brands (for news & guest contributor program), influencers and events covered.
• Support with upload of any content outside the purview of the Editorial team, including but not limited to \xe2\x80\x93 guest articles, videos, etc.
• Support with social media promotions, MIS or outreach as required \xe2\x80\x93 ad hoc.

Experience:

• 6 months - 2 years in a similar role, preferably in journalism, editing, content, marketing, content management, media/ mass communication, publishers, data management functions.
• Excellent email and written communication skills in English (American style), preferably with some proof-reading experience with a natural flair and passion for writing and editing.
• Proven familiarity with SEO will be a huge advantage.
• Must have worked on a CMS or a similar system or must be familiar with the same.
• Basic IT skills \xe2\x80\x93 MS Office, Excel, email communication skills.
• Can pick up subject matter expertise (Cloud, DevOps, AI, etc.) quickly with guidance.
• Exposure to Media/Publishing/IT function will be a bonus.

Qualification:

• Graduate/Post Graduate/Engineering degree is mandatory. Any degree in Journalism, English, Mass Communication will also be preferred.
