Job description ( Senior Copy Editor ) We are looking for a Senior Copy Editor who will be responsible for writing original copy and slogans for advertising campaigns, editing and publishing Junior Copywriters\' articles and maintaining brand consistency across online channels. If you have experience creating web content, we\'d like to meet you. Position: Senior Copy Editor Shift: Day Work location: Noida Working days: Monday to Friday, 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturdays :

• Edit test questions and other assessment materials produced by in-house team
• Proofread rendered copy at various stages of development to attain 100% accuracy
• Confirm that relevant, appropriate and factually correct content is released for final delivery
• Rewrite text to improve clarity and readability
• Perform editorial reviews of all types of content at all stages of production. Other jobs may include raising queries, sharing timely feedback, working with teams & departments to ensure creating 100% error free content
• Readily work as a point of contact for tasks/projects allocated and provide detailed updates regarding project handling and status to teammates and senior editor
• Developing project style guide and/or editorial training materials
• Well aware of differences between UK/US English

Job Specification:

• Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience (Only in editing).
• Masters in English (Not in any other subject)
• Preferred editing experience in Ed Tech.
• Excellent Language skills in US & UK style
• Aware of the Editorial Style Guides (APA, CMS, AP, MLA)

Other Requirements:

• Ability to learn new tasks and concepts quickly. Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: Up to 80,000.00 per month Schedule:

• Day shift

• Noida, Uttar Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Copy editing: 1 year (Preferred)
• Proofreading: 1 year (Preferred)
• Editorial Style Guides: 1 year (Preferred)
