As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase in Corporate & Investment Banking in Payment Technology, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm\'s business objectives.

Job responsibilities:

• Strong development and hands-on experience with Java/J2EE framework and web technologies.
• Strong understanding of development concepts, SDLC methodologies, SOA principles, enterprise design patterns, industry best practices.
• Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines.
• Experience designing and developing large scale enterprise applications.
• Experience implementing API gateway frameworks such as SpringBoot, SpringCloud, SpringSecurity, SpringBatch etc.,
• Experience with building messaging, event-driven architecture and frontend technologies such as REACT etc.,
• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to meet project timelines.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Good to have hands-on with modern infrastructure technology and architecture (cloud platform - AWS)
• Agile development experience or equivalent in fast-paced development environment.
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security
• Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
• Exposure to cloud technologies
