We provide a flexible work environment with remote work available, and some travel may be required for this position. Our approach to software development is to use the best tool for the job, often taking advantage of the latest technology to solve complex problems. Trek Bicycle is looking for an experienced project manager to coordinate and support the overall project plans for IT project teams. This person will work to facilitate and nurture collaboration and communication with stakeholders in order to usher execution and delivery of their pod\'s projects within scope, on schedule, and within budget (if applicable). They will be responsible for removing any blocker the pod is experiencing to keep the project running smoothly, maintaining accurate project timelines, and communicating when any project plan changes are made. Participate in steering and give project updates. Help with reporting. Unblock teams when issues arise. Update the roadmap for each of their projects and keep start and end dates accurate. Help to coordinate project prioritization around the vision set by the Product Owners. Collaborate with Product Owner(s) when there is a priority/timing conflict with project work. Under supervision, develop a Project Plan Document for each project and update the document as the project progresses. Produce a weekly report of Project Health/Status for the Product Owners and Stakeholders. Be accountable for gatekeeping the project at each step, ensuring all activities/artifacts have been satisfied before moving the team to the next phase of the project. Deliver regular project status updates. With help, work with the team to develop go-live plans. Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience A minimum of 3 years project management experience Sound business and technical acumen Proven ability to: Mobilize and motivate teams. Set direction and approach. Resolve conflict. Deliver touch messages with grace. Earn the trust of stakeholders and sponsors. Communicate at all levels both with clarity and precision. Juggle multiple projects at the same time Experience with stakeholder management. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Experience directing large-scale, complex projects involving internal and external team members. Extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management and software development lifecycle methodologies and tools.
