Where you fit The IT Operations Engineer Provide integrated planning of transition requirements for solutions from project to operational support with a key focus on managing the Change & Compliance aspect of the Product. What\xe2\x80\x99s the role? As the IT Operations Engineer, you will be engaged from the Initiation phase onwards to understand the design impact on IDSO operations, UX and support budget. Other Responsibilities include:

• Partner with Theme Owners, IRM and Architecture to define deliverables in a risk-based approach
• Define activities & criteria for designing, building & operating a secure & reliable solution
• Act as a trusted advisor to the team and deliver a seamless transition of the changes into the operations support environment.
• Consult on ways to improve change and compliance assurance for the team.
• Provide guidance and advice on the transition to support of new services including interfacing tools, processes, knowledge, training, service development, contracts, licenses, and relevant communications.
• Assure the solution handed across is compliant with relevant security standards, Business Continuity Plans & Disaster Recovery Plans are delivered, License Management is agreed, asset inventories are up-to-date and signoffs & involvement of key support staff are sought & delivered
• Assure that prior to products and services being moved into production, the configuration details of associated support processes and tools are updated to reflect the implementation

What we need from you

• A minimum of five years experience working in an operations team role closely related to the objectives described in this job pack.
• ServiceNow, Power BI, Azure DevOps tool working experience
• ITIL Certified, PSM, or Business Analysis Certified
• Leading others in the best use of support delivery to achieve business objectives
• Experience working in agile ways of working and Product Management
• Strategic problem solving \xe2\x80\x93 proactive / \xe2\x80\x98can do\xe2\x80\x99 focus with a clear approach to solution review and selection
• Ability to quickly understand, and extract value - ability to extrapolate and harness technology to maximum benefit
• Innovative approaches to problem-solving and creative and lateral thinking
• Demonstrable ability to communicate technical ideas to non-technical colleagues
• Ability to influence others towards a course of action; presents ideas clearly and persuasively
• Excellent communicator across all channels and with all levels of staff
