What\'s the role?:
  • Key Contributor for Critical HERE Services and Critical Accounts: This involves deep knowledge and expertise in the critical services and accounts, ensuring their smooth functioning and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Drive Support Improvement Activities on both Technical and Non-Technical Aspects of Support: Continuous improvement is essential for enhancing support services. This involves identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance support processes, both technically and operationally.
  • Drive Major Incidents Towards Resolution by Liaising with Multiple Stakeholders in a Multi-Geographic Environment: Handling major incidents efficiently is crucial for minimizing downtime and ensuring customer satisfaction. This function involves coordinating with various stakeholders across different locations to expedite incident resolution.
  • Leverage Resources/Knowledge and Assist Engineering Teams with Diagnosis for Major Incidents to Reduce MTTR: This function involves providing support to engineering teams by offering expertise and assistance in diagnosing and resolving major incidents promptly, thus reducing Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
  • Provide Guidance and Leadership to Support Teams and Peers Around Areas of Expertise: Offering guidance and leadership to support teams and peers fosters a collaborative environment and ensures effective utilization of expertise within the team.
  • Create, Track, and Improve Service Metrics: Monitoring and improving service metrics are essential for assessing the effectiveness of support services and identifying areas for enhancement. This function involves establishing relevant metrics, tracking them regularly, and implementing strategies to improve them over time.
Who are you?:
  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of support processes, willing to work in 24X7 engagement for web based applications which are hosted at AWS and Azure cloud.
  • Possess technical knowledge and has the ability to apply those skills to business impacting problems.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Experience in TOOLS LIKE SPLUNK, GRAFANA, CLOUDWATCH
  • exposure to technology like kubernetes, docker, aws would be an added advantage
  • Overall 2+ years experience in production support of web applications.
  • 2+ years support experience in Linux, J2EE, webserver, appservers and Database.

Desirable:
  • Knowledge or experience in containerization like docker, kubernetes and cloud platforms like AWS, AZURE OR GOOGLE CLOUD.
  • Basic understanding of DEVOPS CONCEPTS.
