We are currently seeking an experienced and versatile Application Performance Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Application Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal application performance, troubleshooting issues, and providing effective solutions utilizing AppDynamics. This role requires strong coding skills, familiarity with various coding languages, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Sabre Technology Engineering and Operations (TE&O) is looking for a talented IT Operations Analyst II

Role and Responsibilities

What will you achieve?

• Support the existing AppDynamics installation, as well as work with teams to deploy and configure new installations.

• Create and maintain documentation to help teams learn the tool and support themselves.
• Work with the vendor for upgrades, patches, and future enhancements to the platform.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Configure AppDynamics to monitor Applications
• Setup and Analyze AppDynamics analytical data to predict future performance based on historical trends
• Perform analysis on logs and use problem solving techniques
• Build/maintain AppDynamics dashboards
• Integrate AppDynamics with third party products

• 2-3 years of experience scripting in languages like Python, Node JS, Javascript etc.

• System automation experience, leading to significant time and effort savings.

• Deep curiosity, a passion for knowledge and continuous improvement, and excellent problem-solving skills.

• Ability to collaborate well with others and excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Quick learning, self-motivated and independent
• A passion for learning and sharing knowledge, fostering a culture of growth and development within the team.

Nice To Have Skills:

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) toolsets like Terraform or Ansible.
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Cloud Operations and Cloud Logging
• Exposure to other monitoring tools like Zabbix, Datadog, etc

Important: This role is a combination of development and ops work centered around monitoring and observability. We are looking for people that are comfortable with programming and are equally at ease doing operational work around monitoring tools.
