Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases, has an immediate opening on our Digital Technology team for an IT Functional Analyst - OpenText at our global headquarters in Allentown, PA, remotely in the U.S., or at our Pune, India office.

The IT Functional Analyst is responsible for the requirements gathering, definition, and functional design support within the OpenText application and other data integration applications. The analyst will provide advice and fact-based assessments, related to technological OpenText areas, and their ability to solve business needs. You will be responsible to drive sustainable, operational excellence in the delivery of new application improvements and existing services.

This position is accountable for the following:

• Facilitating business process discussions, to gather and detail business requirements which ensure value and meet the client objectives
• Evaluating the needs and objectives of our business areas and offer guidance as to the best solutions to accomplish their needs
• Analyzing business processes and recommending improvements that would increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Collaborating with other team members to efficiently design solutions
• Identifying potential risks or issues with proposed solutions and providing recommendations for addressing them
• Creating detailed documentation regarding the project's scope, benefits, objectives, costs, activities to be performed, and findings
• Communicating information effectively to non-technical associates through presentations, reports, and other written materials
• Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration
• Actively participate in design discussions and code reviews
• Work with vendors to design and implement new functionality
• Continuously drive excellence in the areas of optimizing services and work processes, improving quality and reliability and lowering total costs

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10+ years' IT Functional Analyst experience with document management systems including OpenText Content Server 16.X.X and 22.x.x including ActiveView, Database Schemas, WebReport Design, and WebForms, Transmittal cover sheets, OTCS workflows, Smart UI configuration, IDE, OScript, SOAP and REST API service
• Past experience facilitating business process discussions, to gather and detail business requirements
• Demonstrable understanding of Content server module related to Extended ECM for Engineering like ADN, CRT, ASM, Bulk loader, Transmittal, MFT, Records Management, Brava, Blazon, Object importer
• Clear understanding of content server integration points with other third-party applications
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent work experience
• Strong problem solving, teamwork skills, and ability to work with minimal direction
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
