Job Summary The IT Asset Manager is responsible for all software and hardware assets of the .efficiently as well as our sister company. You are responsible for the accurate and real-time updates of all company assets and integration into the .eBMS system. You will oversee the budget for all assets reporting monthly budget to actual to upper management. The IT Asset Manager ensures all the organization\xe2\x80\x99s assets are accounted for, deployed, maintained, upgraded & disposed of when the time comes. - Responsible for the administration of software licenses to ensure that we have requested the purchase of upcoming licenses by coordinating with accounting, auditing of license count on a quarterly basis, and oversight of the software licenses in the .eBMS system
- Oversee assets in the Hyderabad office and coordinate with IT Team, CSM and HR to ship & receive assets as required
- Practice asset management for IT hardware, software, and equipment.
- Direct the SOPs and continual updates for the best practices of asset management
- Review budget to actual of invoices from vendors for approval for payment
- Work with IT vendors to purchase hardware, software and devices.
- Coordinate computer lifecycle replacement and management
- Conduct quarterly reviews of all licenses
- At times, you will also work as a support engineer, providing support to internal/external customers that may include troubleshooting O365-related issues and facilitating calls with customers to explain/resolve/address the issues raised to technical support.
- Collaborate and coordinate within the team in identifying and resolving customer issues.
- Ensure 100% adherence to the team and organizational processes.
- Engage in creating & updating Knowledgebase articles which would be in the Helpcenter.
Qualifications
- B.Tech in Computers/IT/ MCA/ M.Sc.(IT)
- 1-3 years in a role that leant to understanding the importance of asset management
- Demonstrated experience with communication with US based customer
- Excellent communication skills and skilled in negotiation and project management
- Strong computer skills
- Previous experience with asset management software a plus
- Professional level proficiency of English communication both written and orally
- Ability to learn fast, problem-solve, and pick up new technologies as needed.
- Worked with a US or Canadian based Company preferred
- Detail orientated and highly organized
- Ability to work independently
- Initiative-taking, self-motivated, and should be a team player
- Strong Analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Superb time management and thoroughness of work
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work Location: This is a hybrid, full-time position. Required to be in the Hyderabad office on Monday and Thursday at a minimum and this schedule may change based on business needs. Shift timing: The hours are Monday through Friday; 3:00 PM to 00:00 AM IST. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Note: This is a partially remote position, and a strong internet connection is required (company subsidy available). Power backup mandated.
