IS Solution Architect (Functional) ? Shape-In Center Of Excellence (COE)

You will be working as IS Solution Architect (Functional) ? Shape-In Center of Excellence (COE), reporting to Internal Projects Manager and will be a part of IS Services division located in Bangalore, India. You will be responsible to support the newly established Integration COE ? BAU for Shape-In Integrations. Timely delivery of the required integrations by internal or external development (including the management of design, change, risk, issue, testing, decision, and defect logs) is vital for the successful activation of the new system given the global go-live date in Q2 2025 and support thereafter.

Your responsibilities

• Defining the technical IS solution and ensuring alignment with other modules and surrounding IS applications through cooperation and collaborating across IS solution architects and IS delivery units
• Engaging in requirement engineering to decide which requirements are covered by available standard functionalities, for which functionalities enhancements are needed and for which functionalities workarounds are accepted
• Driving close relationships and stay up to date regarding other (sub-)projects and workstreams interdependent with the Workday integration to coordinate and plan accordingly which includes the functional workstreams and the best-of-breed project within HRTP and non-HRTP projects happening in ABB (could be in HR or in business)
• Reviewing and signing off the functional and technical use case specifications
• Assisting the functional teams in resolving data inconsistencies and anomalies
• Contributing to IS Problem and IS Incident Management to fight ticket volume by detecting re-occurring defects and eliminating these (Post Go-Live)

Your background

• Bachelor?s in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or MBA or MS in a relevant computing field is preferred
• Strong experience in architecting SAP solutions: SAP, SAP ERP/ECC, Payroll Solutions, Third Party integrations and Master Data Management
• Architect leadership role in 4+ full lifecycle SAP implementations, including post implementation experience
• Strong functional and configuration skills in all areas of the HR/HCM modules in a consulting environment in various industries
• Excellent proficiency in problem solving, root cause analysis, gap analysis, configuration, customization, integration testing, system testing and go live support
