Job Summary:

The Center of Excellence (CoE) Manager (IT) will be responsible for overseeing the day-today operations, process improvement, and CoE team performance. The role involves planning, team leadership, and operational oversight to ensure that the CoE aligns with organizational objectives and delivers value.

Responsibilities:

Role Specific Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the CoE, focusing on process improvement and
  • team performance.
  • Lead the team, providing guidance and support to achieve objectives.
  • Collaborate with the PMO Manager and Steering Committee to align CoE activities
  • with organizational goals.
  • Develop and maintain a repository of expertise, best practices, and knowledge
  • within the CoE.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Report on strength to execute and completeness of process.
  • Dashboard on application and business process improvements.
  • As needed generate reports for senior management.
Compliance:
  • Complies with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures, and arrangements
  • Reports all Health, Safety and Environmental accidents, incidents and near misses promptly
  • Acts in a safe and responsible manner at all times
Problem Solving and Innovation:
  • Active participation in continuous improvement activities
  • Participates in problem-solving
  • Takes responsibility and ownership for own learning and development in the spirit of continuous improvement of both self and the business
  • Assists in the training, mentoring, and assessment of other team members
  • Exercises autonomy and judgement subject to overall direction or guidance
Qualifications/Desired Skills:

Education and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information
  • Systems, or a related field
  • Certification in Agile, Six Sigma, or a similar process improvement methodology
  • preferred.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role with a focus on process
  • improvement.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and managing complex projects.
  • Experience in both technical and business process management is highly desirable
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and data analytics tools, such as
  • Power BI.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
  • High level of problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box.
  • Displayed high levels of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Proven experience developing and implementing creative solutions.
  • Displayed bias for action and ability to complete projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate and drive a team towards a strategic vision.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide mentorship and be an effective coach, have
  • challenging employee conversations when necessary, and be decisive and action oriented
  • regarding decisions affecting the team.
  • Ability to work within a multi-functional, global organizational structure and exhibit
  • robust interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
  • Critical thinking skills and analytical abilities which allow assessments of situations and
  • opportunities.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles.
  • Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
