Main Purpose:
IPEX is a global team that delivers process and control transformation, simplification, and digitization. This role is part of Insights & Automation team that supports IPEX initiatives by designing, building and deploying automations and analytic tools and technologies. The IPEX Automation Senior developer role will

  • Architect, design, document, develop and sustain automation solutions which include RPA, Chatbots, Microsoft Power Suite, Process mining & Machine Learning products for PepsiCo's LATAM & Europe Finance & Controls internal as well as external partners
  • Develop automation standards on various automation tools by leveraging industry best practices and partnering with peers in same capacity across different organizations
  • Act as a technical SME and provide guidance and trainings to associates within IPEX automation team

Key Accountabilities: * Develop process optimizations according to published governance frameworks and standards - Decision, Execute
  • Develop RPA's, Chatbots, Power Automate and PowerApps applications according to published governance frameworks and standards
  • Scope new technologies to integrate in IPEX Insights and Automation toolkit, including but not limited to Machine Learning technologies, OCR capabilities, process mining & emerging technology.
  • Work in conjunction with Business Analyst to help design effective and sustainable automations for business process, ensuring control requirements
  • Lead IPEX I&A global development teams for on time project delivery and quality code
  • Provide guidance to fellow RPA developers & review the automation deliverables & documentation produced by them
  • Support the planning, prioritization, and implementation of automation testing including designing and developing RPA test plans, scripts, and procedures
  • Perform unit testing prior to releasing automations for UAT
  • Coordinate and support user acceptance and regression testing, including preparing test scenarios and collecting approvals from business process owners
  • Oversee test coverage and the timely resolution of defects
  • Coordinate and support end user manual preparation, training planning and execution and certification
  • Lead RPA Infrastructure sustainment and dictate best practices for automation deployment in IPEX and citizen development portfolio.
  • Provide implementation and post production support to ensure business stability- Execute
  • Coordinate and support incident resolution
  • Coordinate and support change request analysis and implementation, including analysis and evaluation of changes
  • Control execution and compliance for all activities aligned with time and quality objectives for area of responsibility
  • Work independently but also function well within a team of developers to drive cross functional learning, development and sharing of leading practices - Decision, Execute
  • Develop strong working relationships with internal partners, both business users and technical resources
  • Participate in reporting automation, optimization, and other projects related to analytics and reporting
  • Mentor more junior colleagues in their automation development & deployment efforts
  • Participate in cross-functional collaboration to help develop and implement solutions that are configured as prescribed by LATAM & Europe Finance and controls standards
  • Provide status and escalate issues to supervisor
  • Contribute to continuous improvement - Execute, Consult
  • Work with business partners to understand areas for improvement and document those opportunities
  • Direct communication with senior leaders to help understand areas of opportunity for automation and socialization of existing automations
  • Serve as SME to others seeking to utilize RPA for automating and streamlining existing manual processes
  • Identify opportunities for replication and reusability of existing logics & technology to drive additional organizational efficiency
  • Collaborate with other members of the Global RPA Virtual Team to create comprehensive documentation in accordance with published standards
  • Contribute towards developing an efficient sustainment model
  • Vendor assessment on contractors and SOW's

Qualifications

Key Skills/Experience Required
  • Client and delivery orientation
  • Business process analysis and optimization
  • Ability to manage complexity and work independently with large amounts of information
  • Higher education degree; Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics. Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Procurement, business or related field
  • Advanced MS Excel skills; ability to work with macros, formulas, big data
  • Experience developing SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, excellent analytical skills
  • Substantial experience with software development life cycle and RPA technologies
  • Delivery experience in RPA platforms preferable UiPath or other platforms such as Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism
  • Delivery experience in Power Platform including
  • Power Automate
  • Power Apps
  • Power Virtual Agents
  • Power BI
  • Understanding of Python and Object-oriented languages and scripting
  • Understanding of database query languages
  • Well versed with Artificial intelligence (AI)and Machine Learning (ML) concepts
  • Experience developing complex applications using Microrsoft PowerApps and Power-Automate platform
  • Well versed with developing sharepoint lists, securing them and integrating them with PowerApps
  • Experience developing FAQ and transactional based chatbots
  • Cross-functional business and application knowledge
  • Ability to create proper functional requirements and detail specifications
  • Technical aptitude to learn new software quickly
  • Ability to break down business problems into logical tasks and think creatively
  • Project and change management experience, preferably involving IT implementations and UAT management
  • Experience documenting process flows and business requirements
  • Strong facilitation/presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with, as well as coach & mentor, less experienced colleagues
  • Experience leading small team groups
  • Ability to work with a large, global, functionally diverse, and informed user base that demands high-quality applications
  • Must be able to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously and prioritize assignments to deliver quality work in a timely manner
  • Ability to balance responsibilities related to production support and project tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to effectively engage and work with a global team
  • Solid problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly document and explain business processes and automated solution designs and to present technical details to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to communicate effectively and adapt to potential language barriers
  • Willingness to travel 20% of the time
