Introduction: The Investigations Manager (IM) will assist and support the development of PS&I with the successful delivery of investigations casework. The IM will support the development of the provision of investigatory services across the group. The role holder will be required to build strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, business partners and industry contacts as necessary, including but not limited to law enforcement both domestic and international, law firms acting for Barclays and financial services Industry. The role holder will carry out investigations as directed into allegations of serious violations of laws, regulations or internal policy; complex complaints and potential fraud matters; assist in the operation of the wider CSO functions in relation to Cybercrime/eCrime Investigation conduct; assist develop and operate the Cybercrime/eCrime investigations methodology in close collaboration with the business partners across the Bank and external bodies; behaviours materially inconsistent with the Barclays Values; and any other significant matters requiring independent investigation and the successful delivery of investigations casework. The role holder will work to the highest levels of integrity, being entrusted with confidential and secret information acting at all times to protect the reputation of Barclays, its colleagues and its customers. Strong levels of investigative ability, commercial awareness, decision making and judgement are required.
